Anime Relations: Trigun, Initial D First Stage, Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch, Soul Eater, B-gata H-kei, Kuragehime, Shingeki no Kyojin

This is a fun habit I got into while watching anime. After viewing so many, I started recognizing voice actors. After I recognized a voice, I would hit pause to look him/her up to see if I was right. One of the first people that I started noticing in a lot of anime was Todd Haberkorn. Others would include Greg Aryes, and two of my favorites: Johnny Yong Bosch and Bryce Papenbrook. But, I believe some of the most talented voice actors are Josh Grelle and Brittney Karbowski. The reason is that they are able to make their voice change depending on the character that they are portraying. This makes it harder to tell who it is, thus making the game more challenging. My boyfriend and I will watch anime together and when we recognize I voice, we stop and look it up.
I started wondering why I had this unique interest in voice acting and it became apparent after watching a documentary on voice actors. Then I remembered when I was a child and I watched All Dogs go to Heaven. I remember I loved the main character, Charlie and I also liked his voice. It turned out to be Bruce Reynolds. I was like, Huh. Interesting. That little memory answered my question. I was destined to guess voice actors in anime! And perhaps critique them a little. Anime = paths to self discovery.
