Well then, people of MAL one of my most recent inherted hobbies includes playing reading various Visual Novels and Eroge.
If anyone is wondering what exactly a "Visual Novel" or "Eroge" is, then wonder no more, for I will do my best to explain both of these terms using my brain full of knowledge :) :

A Visual Novel or VN for short, is a game which is played over several game consoles as well as PC users in which the players gets to pick from a variety of text based choices which will alter the path or "Route" the protagonist leads into. VN's mainly contain 90% text content with alternating CG to back up the text. Often times, many short animations/videos/clips/mini-games are incorporated into the Visual Novel in order to make it unique or add to the story of the Visual Novel. Players usually assume the role of a protagonist either male or female depending on the genre, in a story which is 100% fictional. Many characters are introduced during the course of the game, and many Visual Novel including a dating sim aspect, which allows the freedom of choice to which character route the player picks and explores. Each character normally has their own separate ending apart from other characters in the story which allows players to experience the wonders and joys of getting to know each characters for all their worth.
Eroge is short for Ero game or games containing Ero content. It has many names including Hentai Game or H game and unfortunately, many people look down on people who play them. Eroge basically falls under all the categories as Visual Novels except the fact that it includes R18+ Adult Material within the game itself, usually depicting the protagonist with various characters and their personal romances with each other with a profound story line to back it up. However some eroge are smut or "Nukige" as the Japanese call it and cotain more sex or H scenes than plot. These kinds of games are where most people get their bad opinions from and tend to stay away from the franchise.
I'm sure most people here on MAL have encountered many spin offs or variations of visual novels and Eroge simply by watching anime.

Besides continually watching anime and reading manga I do also have various other hobbies, one of them being a huge fan of UFC (The Ultimate Fighting Championship)

In case some don't know, UFC is basically the highest level of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) where males (Yes this is a only Male Sport, in UFC at least) go head to head and fight it out for three 5 minute rounds, determining who is the better fighter and moving up the ranks ! This is a sport of full contact where you are able to do anything except contact with the groin, poke your opponents' eyes, hit the back of your opponents' head or kick/knee them while they are on the ground. Other than that, the only thing thats keeping you from destroying your opposition is the 3 inch MMA gloves they provide you, and the referee.

For people who don't watch this sport, there is several different weight classes at which a fighter can compete in, they range from 135 lbs [Bantamweight] to 265 lbs [Heavyweight] with 5 other weight classes in between them. If a fighter does not make the weight class during the weigh in 1 day before their fight, then they are disqualified. Also fighters are allowed to be a maximum of 1 lbs over their weight class.

The people that participate in this sport are very committed to it, they beat other people up to make a living for crying out loud! I respect everyone that is in the UFC and in MMA, its a very tough business to be in.

Lyoto in White Trunks, Randy in Red Trunks - In My Opinion, By Far, Best knockout in UFC History ! Jumping left feint kick, followed by a hard Front Kick to the Face! In Midair ! EPIC is the only word i can use to describe this Knockout ! Hope whoever is reading this likes what they see ;)
