2020 rewatch (hello from the future :p )
So! after my first watch (which ended in 21Jan 2016) I set my rewatch value to very high, and seems that I werent wrong after all those years..
So I started watching snafu from the begining because I forgot most of it, and frankly im pretty sure im gonna forget the plot again in a few years but for a different reason then you probably think - this anime's story is being pushed forward by the characters and their emoticions, which can be forgotten preatty easily. yet, the characters felt really true (which is contrasted in most anime), the story can be
really relatable and overall its just a very realistic, interasting and a making-you-think kind of anime.
Blah blah blah. its time to give my score!
2020 REWATCH!!!!
first of all, the previous points -
+Animation - 10/10. Just as before. I stand by that score. the animation was fluid and it delievered alot of emoticion and was just really well done. blinking while watching this anime can make you skip important stuff thus it is not allowed to watch this anime without keyboard (to rewind).
+Story - 9/10 - I think the story is great thanks to the characters that make it. I had to give it a 9 for making me watch so many episodes about a goddamn christmas festival.
+Characters & voice - 10/10 - love them. sometimes the VC themselves made me laugh at things that werent even jokes, just little twists of the voice and idk they felt so real. for the characters themself Its the same cast from s1 plus a new grill and they are great. hayato turns out kinda meh in my opinion but it didnt bother me that much.
+Ending - 8/10 - I guess my past self meant to score the last episode. and I get myself. that was confusing as heck (though I got the point). it connects to the next point which is -
+Writing - ?/10 - sometimes neat, sometimes funny as heck and sometimes really sad. the dialogs are something else in this series. but there is one thing that annoyed me (or two, if you count the fact that I had to pause every episode to check google translate and I assure you im great in Engli..well not bad enough to stop every goddamn episode to translate stuff) and its those conversations in which everything that is said is vague and I cant put my finger on what the hell they were talking about and why are they sad now. especially the last scene from the finale!
+ Ost - 9/10 - cute and fits the anime, yet not really remarkable.
Enjoyment - 9/10 - wow that was really cool.
+Overall - 9.2/10, yet Im rounding it for 10 because for what the anime is trying to portray, the genre, and the reallly high production value,
and what I believe is the anime's strong point is the fact that it feels realistic and doesnt fall for cliques, I give it a ten for.
