I keep liking this show as it goes on.
The old-school charm of this show is definitely doing wonders for it, when coupled with modern production techniques (providing fluid animation) and really good seiyuu work. Nana-chan <3.
I found Irie-kun quite cute this episode (omg, i can't believe I said that) when he envied Kotoko for actually being able to try so hard, despite failing most of the time. I really like Kotoko for that too, so I can empathize with him on that point.
LOL'ed at the Kotoko doll in this episode though. It DOES look cursed, hahaha.
