Immigrants from these areas that live in the U.S. remain believers as well.

This bead is found in Mediterranean, Turkey, and Greece. The evil eye bead can be made from glass, acrylic, or plastic. These beads often appear in other colors for the purpose of fashion and these alternative color beads are considered to provide the same amount of protection.
The evil eye beads are incorporated with precious metals or other gemstones and made into jewelry for either men or women. These beads are also made into wall hanging to provide protection from evil to a home or building. One will find this talisman on boats, cars, animals, etc.
