Kenny Chesney, the current Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year, is a performer even non-country fans are familiar with. Mr. Chesney exudes a healthy charm and innocence that goes perfectly with his pure, clear songs. His is not really a show anybody that enjoys good music will need to miss.

Kenny Chesney's career began back in 1993, and since he then has released 13 albums. Eleven of those thirteen albums have been certified either Gold and Platinum, which attests to their wild popularity among listeners across the nation. He's had more than thirty songs on the country Top 10 lists - and they didn't just flash with and out, either. But fame hasn't touched what he or she is at heart - some sort of good-natured, down-to-earth person.

Born with Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1968, he didn't seem destined to become a musician right away. A five-year old Kenny gained his first guitar with his parents - which he soon drop saying it "hurt their fingers". As a teenager he was a receiver relating to the Gibbs High School football team.

At East Tennessee State University, Kenny Chesney was involved in a bluegrass program. He previously already started saving profit so he could purchase a new guitar. This he or she got, and upon college graduation, Kenny Chesney set out on the road to Nashville, home of country.

His talent set him apart, and people seen. By 1992 he experienced signed contracts with Opryland Music group and music industry icon BMI. Two early hits from his career were "In My own Wildest Dreams" and "All I have to Know". His songs are replete along with the experience of his own personal life, and the sincerity and honesty of his anecdotes and emotions make a powerful impression on his audience. Fans feel that they relate easily to Kenny Chesney the musician along with the man.

Many contemporary stars have ventured into the areas. Some start their own personal clothing lines, some patent their own personal scents. Chesney, who possessed the hit song "Beer In Mexico", prefers the road less traveled - he has been creating his own personal rum. He has even surveyed fans to find out how they like it.

As a live performer Chesney is still hot property. Before his current Boston show, tickets gone away within ten minutes. Truly tremendous accomplishment generally, but retain in the mind the state in the economy: showbiz ticket sales are down, but his shows always sell out. In these kind of troubled times, the sight of signature Kenny Chesney cowboy hats provides the maximum amount of solace as his popular music.

Chesney has won a number of awards in different types including Best Male Nation artist. In 1997 he has been named the ACM New Male Vocalist in the Year. Just last year he won Entertainer in the Year. Obviously there's more to come.

Kenny Chesney's personal panache and his most moving lyrics are sure to win audiences well into the future. If he's touring in your area, do try to catch one of the most amazing country acts approximately - you won't regret it.
