Vagabond or Zetman you ask?

Hmm.that's a bit though...well actually, it is really though for me to answer.

Both are awesome. Due the fact that Vagabond is lengthier you might want to start with Zetman and then switch to Vagabond. That way you may not have enough time to get frustrated with the lack of new Zet's chapters. xD

Vagabond has this more serious and distinct feel than Zetman, probably because it was based on Musashi. At the other hand, Zetman is more enjoyable and also got a bit of mystery and suspense that might captivate you.

But my opinion is obviously biased, and I'm leaning toward Zetman since it was last one I read.

Either way, I believe you enjoy both of 'em.

I agree with you about 20th Century Boys. I still gave it a 10 because its so complex and unlike any other manga I've read, but the author really did run out of steam and pile twist upon twist until I didnt even know wtf was going on anymore or why I should care. Still amazingly epic though.

Glad you liked Jiraishin and Parasyte. Your to-read list is packed with quality manga, lucky you.

Ahahah, good point.

Ah, yeah, I guess that's what I was trying to say.

The phrase is "2 cents", but adjusting for current inflation, I think "5 cents" is an okay variation, lol.

I was more surprised by the childhood arc than anything else. I had no idea it was coming. The first three volumes just blew me away, they were totally insane and awesome.

Yeah, they are. But there are some good reviewers out there!

Haha, good!

I noticed what you wrote about Berserk, so here's my five cents (is that the right term?): Of course this is a very subjective opinion, but the flashback part in Berserk got really good when I got into it. Until that point, I gave it a 10, but sadly the quality (not as in scan quality) starts dropping after volume 20, and at the moment it's all a big mess.

Well that's good to hear! I added it to the list because it's been in the back of my mind for a while now.

I haven't heard either good or bad things about the Akira manga (and the reviews on MAL are so vague), so I wasn't that enthusiastic about reading it.

Expectations adjusted accordingly!

You don't guess if you're gonna read Akira; you have to (;P)! It's a fucking masterpiece. I bet you've watched the anime (I haven't), but the manga is longer and I think it's considered even better than its anime counterpart.
