My Artwork
YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE ANY OF THE PICTURES UNLESS ALLOWED BY ME. ALL OF THE ARTWORK HERE WAS MADE SOLELY BY ME, SO DON'T TRY AND STEAL IT OR THE GREMLINS WILL COME AFTER YOU!
Now before you see them........please don't leave mean comments saying that I'm cr@p and I shouldn't be called artgrl57, because I know I'm not that good, but I like drawing, I'm so happy when I've got a pencil in my hand and a blank page in front of me, and the pictures start to form on the page....and I know the final result isn't that great, but I'm okay with that. And also, most of these drawings are from a while back, before i got my mechanical pencil, so the lines are kinda blurry. Sorry.
Erm.....on mother's day, i made my mum a CD of all of her favourite songs, and i drew this on the label.....i coloured it in with Copic markers, which rule all, btw, but this is just the sketch i drew to start with.....
And this one was when i first got my Copic Multiliner (yes, i am a Copic fiend) so I wasn't really used to using it, so....the lines are kinda shaky. Sorry.
This is a random picture that I found on the Manga University website, and I thought it was cute so I copied it. And yes, it is kinda hard to copy a picture off of a computer screen XD
This is out of Othello, a yaoi compilation manga, and this guy had immense hair so I wanted to draw it. This was the first time I attempted shojo style hair, and I was pretty pleased with how it came out.
These are just a load of random hairstyles I was trying out.....some completely unsuccessful, of course. I'm quite happy with the pony tail at the top though :)
This is just a random picture I drew during a biology lesson.....in the back of my planner, hence the lines.....I thought it was cute though, so......here it is :)
This is supposed to be a side view of K from Gravitation's hair......he has awesome hair, and this is the first time I tried to draw it, so it's not perfect, but yeah. And the original is below it :)
Okay...now on to clothes. I'm rubbish at drawing clothes, so....don't be disappointed when you see how cr@p they are. Enjoy :)
This is just a random bit of material.....I was experimenting with the way material folds when it's knotted, but....its not that good.
This is just a random sleeve, this time I was experimenting with baggier clothing.
This is the top of a robe.......lol thats all I can think to say :)
This is supposed to be the sleeve of a cloak.......i know the folds look kinda unrealistic. Sorry.
This is a tunic with a cape.....I was focusing on the actual cape part, so the tunic is rushed, sorry.
Okay....now this is a picture of Kaname Kuran from Vampire Knight that I'm drawing for my best friend, Mrs_Toshi. It's not finished yet, and I still need to colour it. The actual picture is below. Oh yeah, and he's holding petals, he doesn't just have deformed hands XD

woah, thanks for giving me such good advice :)I'm 14, and i started drawing when i was about 12, i think, and then i started manga probably a year or so ago :) and yeah i draw loads i take my sketch book everywhere with me :) |

Ello, that cape u did was amazing lol :0 . but as for the rest its good would help to determine your skill/progress by your age however, for what i see i can tell you that, the best way to draw more symmetrical would be to use shapes as a base to ur final drawing, just do it light and remember if its sketchy as heck means you are doing the right job (however not everyone is as sketchy, i am lol).Then from that base sketch instead of leaving the sketch id suggest you trace it onto another paper because that way u can pick out the lines and make it neat, OH! and for Build your darks, don't press the pencil. thats the advice i can give you for now a'm sure you'll improve a lot every year and you probably already have XD and ooooh finally draw draw draw. dont stop. =] |
