Winds howl up above the canopy top
The wildlife listens to the whistle
Thundering sounds prevail without a stop
Rabbits and reindeer hide in the thistle
The Earth panics with almighty tremors
Oaks and elm come to a twirling tumble
Tis' the sun rises this mid September
Its children born of flame brought a rumble
The beasts trample and search for many prey
The creatures of wood cannot comprehend
Many corpses in endless bound they lay
I am sad to explain this will not mend
I stand and watch the woods become undone,
for the people battle an outcome, won.

i hate humanity.
humans arethe most horrible God has created and know no end to cruelty. We are blinded greed and the want for power.the world would be a better place without us.

To me this poem is about how man kind simply destroys everything that it encounters. The animals run and hide in fear of us. The woodlands are broken and dying because of the un-repairable damage we inflict. And yet we don't stop we continue on and do these things. We slaughter the animals and leave their "corpses" and it's children born of flame could represent hoe animals are born and raised in captivity only to become food for us. It's a very good poem and a lot could be taken from it.

The poem is made to have your own opinion about it, decide what makes sense to you.
