I really hated some of the touches I feel like Shaft did, clashed with the tone at times, but it leaves me very excited to try out the manga at some point.

A fantastic and one of the finest adaptions from Studio Pierrot, where the manga is now one of my favorites. Crossing fingers for another well handled season.

A second season trainwreck, made worse by the awful and lazy ending. Soured everything I enjoyed from the series.

May not be the best shonen but can't help but have a special attachment to this series since it was one of my first mangas. Hope more arcs gets animated.

The series showed great promise and the characters have a lot of potential, so it makes me sad this series turned into average shonen halfway through. It's not boring but the characters and strategies aren't as deep as it tries to make you believe.

The first half of the anime suffers from too much bad shonen filler. While it does go back to canon and improves much better in the second half, might be better to read the manga first.

Not the best directing / animation at times, very aimed at manga readers. It can be better but seeing the characters back and these new arcs animated still feel like an unexpected treat.

It was really neat to see them air two anime arcs side by side each week but while it did start promising (and thus never made it boring to watch), the answers were getting to be more bullshit as they were limited on time. The characters and their stories deserved to be more fleshed out then this, as I can only wish some things and plot elements would have been better if it wasn't for the 12 episode format.

Solid sports series but the last match was so good that I'm pretty excited for the second season now.

Strong conclusion. X2 is best experienced I feel watching all three cours together as it's a series that definitely needs to be fresh in your mind. Otherwise, it's nice to see this series get the animated ending it deserves, having been one of my first anime.

Glad I picked up this show after a packed Summer 16 season. Not the most groundbreaking anime but still one of my favorite types. Nice, cute, and relaxing. Highly recommended if into series like Natsume Yuujinchou.

Probably a higher rating if it had an actual ending. Ah well... definitely reading the manga though.

Enjoyed this season way more than I expected. The new characters all ended up being very great and I really identified with the themes the show delved into here, which I feel is getting more and more real nowadays.

Masterpiece shonen and anime that might forever be my favorite, avoids all the cliches that plague the genre.

3.25/5. Many mixed feelings regarding this series. It has the charm, characters, setting, music, visuals.... basically everything except the story. If the plot was tighter and actually had more of a focus, and if it bothered to explain the supernatural stuff, I would have honestly really loved it. I'm just not sure what this series was trying to be.

Greatest unknown anime out there. Don't be put off by the childish vibes it may have, as it can get surprisingly dark. Slow paced anime but with wonderful plot and character developments.

An interesting concept and storyline with good ideas but suffers from a lackluster execution and cast.

Going to have to rewatch this sometime before the rest of the series because the subs I watched in theater were not good.

Mostly a well told story, if not cliche at times. Mirai and Akihito are adorable. Ending theme though is really beautiful.

Loved the ending. Just wish the main duo didn't bicker for so long though.

Talk about a series that knows how to hit you in the feels almost every episode.

Very charming show. Don't come into this series expecting it to be "cute wolf girl does cute things" as it's far from it. Instead, the show is very dialogue driven, which means it may not be suited for everyone, but the series pulls this off very well with the main duo, who are witty and have great chemistry with each other. Looking forward to see the journey conclude in whatever form it is.

Hopefully the end will be animated someday but onto the novels now I guess! Great second season, though an incomplete one.
