It's sad. And just think, I watched this in parts on Youtube back when the upload limit was 10 minutes. That alone makes it hard to go back to... things are just so different now.

Definitely more going for season two. Feels well directed and very action packed. Framerate can still be distracting, but overall I got into it.

Arslan is such a cinnamon bun! A very solid and engaging adventure. It doesn't try to be anything else. It just does its own thing, and sticks to it.

One of the most engaging and interesting shows I've ever seen. It really was my first "Oh my god... I get it!!!" at the end, and so it will always be extra memorable to me.

The jokes are solid and so are the shenanigans. Even today it still holds up.

I got really into this, but it does have some glaring issues. Why does the actual 10 year-old sound like he's 30? Also the killer is so obvious. I guess that's the point though, it's more about the kids anyway.

The little brother was unwanted comic relief, but I enjoyed everything else.

Holy fuck that was depressing. Incredible, but depressing. I'm in therapy now. Although the story is *almost* downright comical with how quickly things descend into chaos, there's something about it that... scares me? Something about the whole thing just feels to real. Maybe I'm just weird.

This movie is fun in both English and Japanese. Even though the English cut makes no sense as a whole.

Surprisingly, Amazon has this dub available for streaming with Prime. I would have thought comedy this offensive would be illegal or something nowadays

"I think you're really pretty." Such a feel-good show. The dub is the perfect blend of awkward nostalgic. Something about it just takes me back to the Summers of my childhood.

The episodes were all really fun to watch, good mystery. A little bit of melancholy here and there, too.

I liked the first half of this movie... but the second half was just weird.

It's always fun to hear "Walk Like an Egyptian" at the end. This arc is so famous that someone made an entire RPG Maker game where you are featured as a protagonist. Complete with multiple endings, pathways, and original stands.

Now, piecing together the entire plot when the movies are numerically out of order? That can be kind of tricky.

What you do is, you watch them in numerical order, and then chronological order. Unfortunately, I have yet to do the latter. But soon I think I will.

My friend and I used to joke about how the box sets were outrageously priced. They still *kinda* are, but for the quality it's definitely worth it.

What KnK did really right for me when I first watched it was transport me to a pla-- wait is this the one with the walking in circles scene?

Anyway, it really teleported me to a place that felt so real and different, like a dream. I didn't understand some of the stuff that was going on, but I was still captivated.

That being said, I saw these so long ago. It can't be understated how much one matures from early to mid to late-20's. I think if I watched them again, in chronological order, my interest would be renewed and I'd understand things with a matured mindset.

But that's a dangerous game. Especially for my wallet.

I always think that if I could get Ufotable to animate something I created, I might just die happy. But right now, I'm just gonna put this on the bucket list.

This one makes me cry more than other Miyazaki films. Seriously, it puts a spell on me every time. Something about it is so... captivating.

Maybe I'm just an uncultured doof but I honestly had a pretty good time here, despite the over-the-top "patriarchy bad" moments. The main couple also doesn't feel very queer-baity to me, but then again I haven't watched many series with a gay couple so I *could* be off the mark. Regardless, for my first ever front-to-back Gundam series, I'm sure I could have picked worse. Also the animation quality is kinda amazing.

Yeah so the pacing of S1 was okay, but this season feels rushed as hell. It hurts because there's good elements here that make for a compelling story, but nearly every episode of S2 is like Scene, Meanwhile! ALSO MEANWHILE! And then meanwhile here! And it jumps around so much. If given more time to simmer and cook, everything would have had more impact. The random extra bad guy at the end was also weird and left-field. Great potential, mediocre execution, but a decent Gundam and pretty approachable... mostly, to newer fans.

I really wish this show was better than it turned out to be. Big loss of potential. I didn't hate it; I had fun at a few points... but the issues are way too big to ignore.

Pacing is a little breakneck, but simple. Characters are a bit trope-y, but cute. Overall, a fun little distraction.

The extra 25 minutes helps development tremendously, and everything feels more solidly structured. A fun little movie that made me smile.

This anime is so bland and terrible, and none of the characters are likable AT ALL. See also: How to offend the entire Ragnarok playerbase. Just go watch LoLs Castle, you'll have a much better time.

An emotional, action-packed manly adventure

Actually my favorite Miyazaki film. Dear god everyone is so lovable. And the music? Agh, my heart.

This movie got me really emotionally invested. Even got my family on board, and my mom was all like "this is just a cartoon... why is it so emotional?" It's just a good fuckin movie.

Not in my top faves of Studio Ghibli, but it's a fun and light-hearted film

My first memorable school romantic comedy. Taiga is a great Tsundere and her relationship with Ryuuji is adorable.

He can turn trash into trees, it's dank as shit. Also a guy eats god, it's great. A simple, fun Shonen series that doesn't get too complicated but ups the stakes enough to be engaging.

I found myself quite enjoying Tanya's character despite the inconsistent and nonsensical plot devices which sometimes cropped up. The side characters are totally irrelevant... but I'm not too sad about that.

Nice visuals guys. And where did everyone´s personalities go? Season 3 isn´t even tempting enough to pull me back. Peace out.

Lost Universe? More like lost budget... it wants to be Slayers so bad, but it just isn't. Only the first 7-ish episodes are good. The rest are just... awful.
