This anime is absolutely heartwarming. It gives off this wonderful feeling that life is about the little things, and life really is beautiful if you just stop and take a look at the things and the people around you. You realize what truly matters and what are the things you should really learn to value. Whenever I'm feeling down/upset or even bored this is definitely the anime I watch to lift my mood! It's the best slice of life anime out there and I highly recommend it.

Okay so this anime is a tricky one, you'll either love it or quickly get bored of it and discontinue watching it. Steins gate is about time travel, however it's not you're overly ethusiastic "back to the future" type of sci-fi anime. It's actually quite dark and gets intense. So what to expect when you're watching it? At first you won't understand a thing of what's going on in the story, and the characters are saying a bunch of words that make no sense, this goes on for a while and it can get really boring to be honest. However once your past that part of the story, things begin to escalate very quickly and in my opinion, that's where the real excitement begins. From then on there'll be a lot of unexpected, eye grabbing events and you'll want to know how things will turn out. And the story will start making sense. So if you are gonna watch it, bare the first episodes although you might find them boring.

The art: it's pretty good and unique.

Subbed/Dubbed: Both versions in my opinion are pretty good, the dubbed was surprisingly good too.

Characters : well written and nicely designed

Story/Plot: Very clever and unexpected plot. Again Not your typical back to the future stuff, I personally dislike sci-fi but this however, I enjoyed.

As you can see my overall rating is a 7 and this is because of the first few episodes that I felt were a waste of time but somehow necessary for later on events. Although they are necessary this does not change the fact that theyre quite boring. Other than that the anime was good in my opinion.
