Introduction
The national idol unit Fool's End suddenly announced their breakup at the Honnouji no Fes: a Burning Dream concert. The Tenka Fubai (Tenka Flag), which only the world's best idols can hold, was to be handed over to a successor group, with the decision based on the overall score of each group's music sales, live audience count, and merchandise sales. This "battle royale" marked the beginning of the age of idol warfare in Japan.
When the news of the battle royale broke, idol groups from around the country went into a frenzy. Three groups—NO PRINCESS, a four-member group produced by Shigemichi Saitou, Lunatic Eyes, a three-member group produced by Muneto Date, and X-UC, a ten-member group produced by Kounosuke Sanada—were all extremely popular and soon announced their participation.
NO PRINCESS, a street-style group specializing in dynamic R&B dancing, the orthodox Lunatic Eyes, and X-UC, who make the most of their numbers with a wide variety of characters and formations, will fight to the death in battles (live performances) around the country.
Although producers Saitou, Date, and Sanada were unaware, they are the reincarnations of Dousan Saitou, Masamune Date, and Yukimura Sanada, respectively. At the time of their deaths in their previous lives, they each had their will to take over the world confirmed by a mysterious woman named Iyo. The three learned of this just before the battle royale.
lyo appeared before them for the first time in hundreds of years, unlocking the sealed memories of their previous lives and giving them each a red "wo" palm print (stigma). She told them that it would become the complete character for "heaven" upon taking over the world. The three are convinced of their previous existence by their "wo" palm prints and push forward toward their goal.
The movie is based on the Idol Bu Show multimedia project, which began in October 2019 and released singles and drama CDs.
