This goes to any Toaru Majutsu No Index/Toaru Kagaku No Railgun anime. However, I am only going to focus on Railgun this time.

Both series focuses on students with super powers. Both series also have scientists involved with the kids that have those super powers, either for good or bad purposes.

Charlotte and Railgun feature kids with abilities going around solving supernatural cases. They are usually stopping kids from misusing their abilities.

Both animes have the same kind of "kids with abilities" theme to them.
As well as both animes are also set at a school.
