A single man who gets stuck with an adolescent child and has to learn how to be a father. Both shows have a similar mother figure who comes in to help raise the child as well as a theme around school.
I assume they end the same.
Wholesome anime where a child is adopted into a family and they learn and grow from raising a child. Usagi drop is more slice of life and Spy x Family has a little bit of action and comedy mixed in so they are very similar.
Single man with an adopted daughter scenario, with similar scenarios and learnings about childcare. Usagi Drop is slice of life though, whereas Spy x Family is more like a superhero family working undercover.
