So, as we all know, they announced the 2nd Season at the same day with season 1 ep 12 aired
But how much time we should expect to wait until season 2 drops, or at least we get an air date?

Most Likely Winter 2024 Or Spring, Considering How Busy The Studio's Schedules Is For 2023

I doubt it will come out on 2024. The core staff working on this project are also working on Moonlit Fantasy, which also announced season 2 a long time ago. They prolly push this season 2 until late 2025 Unless the projects get taken over by a different team.

4th quarter, hopefully.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

With a cliffhanger like that I was hoping sooner rather than later, I guess 2024 is realistic from what's been said here, as long as the quality and story is still good I don't mind waiting.

I still believe it's late 2023 I think it had 24 episodes they turn into 12 per season maybe they can't finish remaining 12 episodes so for those remaining 12 episodes they will be released it under 2 season banner

Season 2 getting greenlight at the end of season 1 usually means they already have start working on remaining 12 episodes and I think it will release in late 2023 during sept or oct because they had enough time to complete or finish work on its remaining episodes

Announcement can made during anime expo time that's it's next month or so

it's now became a pattern for iskeai animes to release first 12 episodes and then later name 12 episodes as season 2 maybe I guess

If it's delayed to 2024 that's really disappointing for me but hopefully it should release this year during Sept or Oct that's my guess

2024 can be expected as if they announced right after season 1 ended then that means they were already preparing for season 2, preparations must have already been complete so we can expect season 2 say 12-15 monnths after season 1 finsihed airing. or if they just felt like announcing and don't have any plans to give a season 2 right now then nothing can be done.

Usual sources don't have it for fall 2023 nor winter 2024, but winter 2024 is still possible.

I'm quietly hoping for winter 2024 because in Japan the novel is on 2 volumes per year publishing scheme, with one volume coming out end-March, and one end-September. Anime in winter 2024 would be a good run up promo for the newest volume that would be coming in Japan at the end of March 2024. Failing that, summer 2024, as run up promo for the September 2024 volume.

Alas, we englishpleb are several volumes behind with little view of catching up as we're been getting two volumes per year for the past three years, and we will get volume 13 November/December when Japanese public is about to get volume 16 at the end of this month. /sadface

While you wait, I sincerely recommend reading the novels. Season one was very well done, almost literally what the novels have, and I can't wait to see the story to continue on screen. I really hope they don't castrate it by rushing, like Isekai Smartphone did.
