Higurashi When They Cry: Festival Accompanying Arc
| This series has so many mysteries to explain that I didn't notice when they explained these two things: -Why Takano always kills Tomitake and fakes her own death ? -Why Tokyo sends the Banken to Hinamizawa at the end of the series ? |
| Its been a while since I watched it so my answer might not be the most accurate but what I believe/remeber is that even though we know there are different worlds there are certain events before a timeframe that ALWAYS stay the same (Rena breaking Windows, satoshi disapearing etc) and therefore even though the actual explanation is parallel worlds it's easier to Thu k of the plot as a time loop. Everything that happened before the time loop will stay the same no matter what and before the time loop takano had decided to kill tomitake because he had an obious link to her and then "kill" herself to take all suspicion away because a dead person can't be pulling the strings :P. As for why rika never does anything to stop his death on the cotton drifting festival (which would be knside the timeloop) I'm not sure, she either believed that she has no power and therefore there's no point in thing (which is a bleief she struggle with for a while) of his death is simply a fixed point that can't be changed no matter what, date as you may call it.
