Both the main character in Mokke and Natsume Yuujinchou are able to see youkai, which ordinary people can't, which makes them special. Both series also show the main character trying to deal with them in different ways. Natsume give them back their names, while the main character in Mokke tries to protect her sister from being posessed. Both series have a nice feel and where mokke perhaps is a bit moreslice of life, they are both good anime series and if you liked Mokke, then you'll perhaps like this, since it s a bit similar.

Both deal with the supernatural, and both are told as stand alone episodes. Although Mushishi is the "darker" of the two shows, Mokke is still definitely worth watching.

Looking for light-hearted anime with supernatural elements? Both Mokke and Wagaya no Oinari-sama have plenty, especially from Japanese folklore. The main characters in both series are a pair of siblings, one an elementary schooler and one a high schooler; in Mokke it's a pair of sisters, while in Oinari-sama a pair of brothers. In both anime the younger sibling is often targeted by supernatural creatures such as youkai. In Mokke the older sister protects the younger, while in Oinari-sama the younger brother is protected by a third protagonist who is a youkai herself.

Both of them talk about Japanese fantastic creatures. Although in Mokke that is the main theme while in Mouryou no Hako it´s not. Also the old man who makes exorcisms in Mouryou no Hako and Kyougokudou are similar to Shizuru´s and Mizuki´s grandfather.

Both are supernatural slice-of-lifes set in the country. They are slow-paced and have some comedy every now and then. Personally I find Flying Witch more engaging, and I like the characters more. Mokke has darker elements to it, and the tone is less happy and carefree. If you're looking for an anime similar to Flying Witch but more serious, Mokke may interest you.

The begin is almost the same: young schoolgirls who can see spirits and other creatures of Japanese folklore that are invisible for the other humans. These spirits are often mischievous and the girls despise them. But Pupipo! is almost superficial and parodic with random things, while Mokke is more deeper about the spirits. Finally, Pupipo! is more hilarious, while Mokke is more staid and balanced.

The past, tradition, and the future is important, but it really depends on the person. The anime share a point of view between sisters and their relationship. Having to protect each other, while Mokke is rather episodic and the and most of the slice of life theme is presented by the supernatural beings each representing something. While Figure 17 is more about school, of course with some alien action. The anime involve going beyond themselves, breaking their fears and maturing from it. Both anime shows both the beauty of happiness and the cruel sadness of the world.

Another high school girl who sees spirits, and her younger sister who gets possessed by them. Life lessons and occasional sappiness instead of yuri bait, without ever becoming too serious.

Both series involve mysterious encounters with supernatural creatures, curses, possessions, and other events. Both are episodic and involve main characters that can see things that others cant.

Main characters are young schoolgirls who can see spirits (in a different way), and the girls dislike these entities in both titles and in the same way. Mokke's ones are more mischievous and reflect the Japanese folklore, while Ninninman's ones reflect hated food eaten.

Slow-paced atmospheric slice-of-life shows that take place in the country side. Both deal with the supernatural events in the area and have realistic characters that do not fit in the usual anime tropes. The main characters are kids and the two sisters from each show interact with each other in a similar fashion. The protagonist in Zettai Shounen is a boy and in the second arc another girl comes into focus, whereas in Mokke, everything revolves around the sisters.

If you enjoy relaxing, albeit slowly moving, shows with an endearing, wholesome, positive tone that occasionally present messages that make you think or remind you of important life lessons, both of these shows would probably be good choices. Also, both shows feature characters' interactions with fantastical elements as metaphors for realistic human concerns and experiences.

The pair of girls is very similar: Heidi and Mizuki are both the little ones, with short hair and cheerful personality; Klara and Shizuru are both quiet and thoughtful. Heidi and Mokke have both a grandfather as very important character; and the main background is the nature (mountains for Heidi and country for Mokke). Folkloristic entities of Mokke can be partially regarded as the animals of Heidi. Some of the developments of the plots are similar, too.

Two siblings get into trouble with spirits. Of the two, Mokke is the more charming anime, however Takane no Jitensha is worth checking out if you like supernatural stories.

Both involve the relationship between spirits and humans, children in particular, and both have rural settings.

Both involve young people dealing with the supernatural world. Although the styles are very different, both shows include multiple themes regarding the supernatural. Oh, and both include a young girl who is easily possessed by supernatural beings.

Both series are set in the countryside, and follow the daily lives of children. They have relatively lighthearted supernatural themes about the magical/spiritual world as a part of daily life.

They are both about two sisters and the younger sisters are very similar

Children dealing with weird and odd invisible creatures or entities. Both are supported by an old person; but while in Dennou Coil everyone are able too see the invisible stuff, in Mokke only few humans can do it. Dennou Coil seems to be an urban and technological version of Mokke. Depending on the situation, children enjoy or face these strange beings which are spirits in Mokke and virtual stuff in Dennou Coil. The biggest difference is the background: Mokke is country, and plays with the nature factor, while Dennou Coil take place in the emerging half-virtual world.

In both anime there are children, young girls, who come to the countryside to live with their grandparents, encounter with spirits and eventually resolve some problems by becoming more adult.

These two are quite similar, dealing with youkai and the supernatural in a slice-of-life way. While the genders of the main character(s) differ, they are quite similar. That said, Natsume Yuujinchou tends to be a bit more melancholic about its subject in comparison.

Although the developments and the targets are completely different, each episode shows at least one folk like creature: the method of appareance of non-human creatures is pretty the same. The stories are set in a rural location.
