Communication problems. Both manga follows two MCs who have issues conveying their feelings and thoughts.
Kashiwada does this quite literally with her expressionless face. Komi is just unable to communicate in a mass of people who do nothing but love her in a comedic way.
Both manga are good comedy though Komi has much more progress than that of Kashiwada-san and Oota-kun.
