Has the same feel to it. The characters aren't really weak to begin with; Blood Lad being boss of the area and Soul+Maka and the rest being all top of the class. Same art too (from my view), except for the obvious trademarks to each.

It begins very comic and light but soon evolves into a pretty dark, sinister and even mad story. The artwork helps a lot to that ambience with a very dark, mad and unique style.

The Characters- Whenever I read Staz (The main character) talking, it immediately reminded me of Soul.
The Story- The story has the same feel to it. They both have creatures in it, like Vampires, ghouls, etc.
And a lot more. If you like Soul Eater... Just read Blood Lad
