The school settings for one are similar. The unique way each manga tackles the complex feelings of romance and high school is also aligned. Though Kaguya-sama is longer Onani Master Kurosawa is in a sense a very well condensed form of the former. The humour is up to date with the times in which each was released, so older Otaku have something nice to call back to at certain points. Art wise both are rough, yet charming, so just like in Kaguya-sama it is easy to get attached to the admittedly amateurish style.
