Typical 1-0-1 school fight shonen manga, with a funny duo of delinquents, close style of drawings and that very "nice-but-sometimes-devilish" behaviour reminding Onizuka (and also the same dyed hair). If you liked this one, you'll like Shonan Jun'ai Gumi from Fujisawa, without a doubt ;)
Are they similar? Well, almost the same. Kkow focuses more in comedy while Sjg has more drama. 2 delinquents that rule over their schools and more. Apart from that, both of them have exclamation signs at the end of their titles :D
Both are the pillar of delinquent story manga, both got god tier comedy and both tells a goated story about friendship and how they develop over time
