These two mangas are very similar! Both have the same ambiance as well as similarities in the plot lines. Both deal with time travel and trying to save a loved on from death by using time travel or reaching the past. Both must make several changes in their past lives and try to figure out what caused the deaths and how to prevent them.
One is shoujo and another one is seinen.
However, both are similar for the main theme; which is saving people that the MC care by turning back the time. (BokuMachi literally leap back to the past from the future while the MC in Orange received letter from the future to change her past).
Both also value the importance in friendship, and deal with issues of mental illness.

- Both have a highschool atmosphere

While they may seem to be very different they somehow manage to capture a very similar feeling, if you like one I'll bet you'll like the other.
Both manga are dark in nature with heavy themes of death and depression. Onward, a large percentage of each manga is spent on the relationships between friends. Furthermore, in terms of story they both involve the use of time travel to save someones life.
Erased differs by being a seinen with a psychological, mystery story. While Orange differs by being a shoujo with a large focus on romance and having more lighter and cheerful tones.
