Gods of death.
The main similarity is in the fact that most of the deaths consist of one character dying
and the friend is visited by the god right before their death and the theme is essentially similar.
Both stories focus around a female lead who is based around a death concept and share similar personalities both being kind yet somewhat reserved and dutiful in their respective jobs with death, taking certain people to the afterlife and both focus around the female leads interactions within the world of the living as well too.
