Both manga center around protagonists that deal with otherworldly beings. Yakumo (Shinrei Tantei Yakumo) dealing with ghosts, and Kotoko (Kyokou Suiri) dealing with yokai. They both have trusty assistants, Yakuma's being Haruka and Kotoko's being Kurou. These protagonists are the only ones who can deal with these phenomenons and come up with ingenious plans to do so often using chapters with lengthy dialogue explaining them. Additionally, both main protagonists have two different eyes.
Basically, both are awesome manga, so read them both.
