Tons of blood, gore, and nudity. A lot of the villains in both share the same powers, and the art styles are very similar, which makes sense given the director.

Both movies develop in a dark ambience, great fights, characters, enemies, and with a moderate dose of romance. The art in both movies is also similar.

Movies set in a dark fantasy version of our world filled with warriors, monsters, beautiful women, and supernatural powers. Worth it for the top-notch animation and tons of visual style and amazing fight scenes. Vampire Hunter D takes place in the distant post-apocalyptic future while Juubee Ninpuuchou takes place in feudal Japan.

These old movies are animated by the same studio and directed by the same man, for whom it should be said that his style is dark. Both mix fantasy elements with a dark atmosphere and horror, thus making them fall into dark fantasy territory. Also, they mix both tragical and romantic elements.
