If you liked
Tonari no Totoro
|
...then you might like
Gake no Ue no Ponyo
|
both from Mizayaki Hayao's Ghibli Studio,
both story & art have warm and 'cuteness',
ah, I just think anyone who love one of these will love the other,,
Both have a childish, innocent and sympathetic story and both are directed by Hayao Miyazaki, if you liked Totoro hardly will not like Ponyo.
Ponyo is a really sweet, gentle family film by Ghibli, involving a plot centred around magic and two adorable main characters.

"Ghibli vibe". Because that is the most logical thing to use when recommending two Ghibli titles.
I suppose the similarity with these two however is that MC moves to a house that allows for magical beings to arise, that dominos into a dive (sometimes literally) into a deep (also sometimes literally) world of the mystical side of life. I suppose one could look at these two as being that fantasy everyone has as a kid or adverts like to push forward.
If Ghibli's name doesn't sell these two movies to you, then I don't know what will. Great with the family.
