Netflix original anime have a hit or miss reputation that alienate hardcore anime fans who prefer to skip most titles. The general consensus is that Onimusha and Yasuke are misses and therefore have received little attention. Onimusha and Yasuke are samurai anime series with fantasy elements that are easily watchable with their short episode count. Sometimes this is all you need along with some action for a good time.
