Both focus on high power sorcerer male character who comes to own an elf-slave love interest. In both cases the OP demon lord male character puts on an evil act to make up for his inability to talk to women but is actually looking to free the slave long term.
Unlike Elf Bride,Isekai Maou is a harem romance comedy with two slaves: an elf girl and a cat girl. The show's comedy also derives heavily from ecchi situations. Still the romance is there and the situations are very similar.
