Yusaku and Lelouch are vigilantes with tragic pasts fighting for their own crusade against evil with a partner whose mysterious power allows them to carry their goals beyond further heights.
There are references such as Takeru being Gino to Yusaku's Lelouch in opening 2 and later Suzaku's seiyuu becomes a villain as much as Lelouch once the story goes on.
Yugioh is a big fan of Code Geass I won't argue since GX carried on the elements to 5ds to Zexal to Arc V to Vrains as of now.
Art style up to date is identical to Sunrise in Gallop and heck the character design may be somewhat
