Grow to respect. The Boy and The Beast and Mirai both follow children who hate their current lifestyle, due to this, they are set on an experience that will truly change their mind on their standings of life.
Boy and Beast follows unruly Ren pairing up with an also unruly Kumatetsu learning to live with each other despite constant arguments. Mirai is the same with Kun and his parents, who are more responsible, however, in that Mirai is the centre of the arguments.
Both are good anime movies made by the same studio; Studio Chizu. And the same director; Mamoru Hosoda.
