There's that one boy who until recently has been living a normal life, but is suddenly teleportated into another world. At first everything is messed up, but after awhile he gets used to the new life. The thing is that apparently he is the chosen one to get rid of the evil that's hiding in the shadows. But all is well when it ends well! In both Kyo Kara Maoh! and Amatsuki we see the development of the lead male characters who are destined to bring peace and prosperity to the other world they suddenly appear in.

Aside from being produced by the same studio. The main characters are both mystically transported to another world (or timeline whatever). The characters are also voiced by veteran seiyuus.

The similarities are amazing. The main guy gets transported to an au past time, and has to deal with the power struggles between demons and humans- who's good, and who's bad? Both Yuuri (KKM!) and Toki (Amatsuki) are told that they have great power, and are meant to save their worlds, and are both surrounded by bishies. There are plenty of slashy moments in both, but is more predominant in KKM!
Also, they both have really funny bald characters, who are so similar: Dakoskos in KKM! and Heihachi in Amatsuki(ie They act cowardly, but can be courageous.)
