these series are actually VERY different in style setting storyline and just about everything else
the only similar thing is alucad and the and the count (the two main characters) they both ooze charisma
are ruthless and no matter how evil they are you just love them, so for the alucard out there fans check out gankutsuou
because the are both AWSOME!!
Mysterious main characters, both stories based on popular novels (Beam Stokers Dracula albeit very loosely, Alexander Dumas Count Monte Christo). Both have struggle of main character with world as is presented. Scheming of some characters. Existence of mystical or supernatural powers. Although with some anachronisms both series are set in future (farther to future stronger the anachronism).
