•Almost similar genres (romance, ecchi, harem, etc.).

Differences:
•On top of all the fan service, Shinmai Maou actually has a plot whereas Monmusu doesn't.
•Shinmai Maous fan service is a lot more better (or worst, depending on if you enjoy it or not) than Monmusu.
•Shinmai Maou has a lot of action, something that Monmusu doesn't have.
•Shinmai Maou (2 seasons - 20+ episodes) is a longer series than Monmusu (1 season - 10+ episodes).
