Similarly insane art styles, even though the art styles themselves are pretty distinct from each other. Lots of bright colors in both.

The same surreal art and scary vibe, the scenes change in strange ways to provide with plot juice
Both Mononoke and Paprika deal with people's Form, Truth and Regret (not directly, in Paprika, but still something like that), and as a fan of both, i would recommend both aswell.
