Both anime are very over-theatric especially when it comes to how the main characters talk.
Both of the main characters are geniuses when it comes to their quick thinking in handling situations.

If you take out part 1 and watch part 2, maybe you can find similarities, Hilarious and ridiculous asspulls, Very likeable characters, a plot that goes out of nowhere/Weak but very enjoyable,Both are 10 if you don't take this seriously

If you love battles with intelligent ways of being resolved like in code geass, I clearly recommend to give a try on JOJO specially 2 part and above
