If you're into anime with lots of gore, these two beat the case. This recommendation is based only on Season 1 of Tokyo Ghoul.
Of every quality I state in this recommendation, Corpse Party, by my opinion, is 2 times better than Tokyo Ghoul, except for paragraphs "4" and 5, on those they seem to be almost the same:
1) Dark
2) Grotesque
3) Interesting story
4) Interesting characters
5) The characters possess very lifelike emotions and expressions.
The abandoned school atmosphere and amazing voice acting in Corpse Party makes you feel like you're actually there, in the darkness, while in Tokyo Ghoul we are presented with a more bright and illuminated
