The storylines aren't that similar but both animes contain the themes of love, loss and moving on...Both are very beautiful and tearjerking. If you liked Rumbling Hearts, you'll probably like 5 Centimetres per Second :)
Both of them are completely realistic. Stories are about love and both of them shows the bittersweet facts of life!
both series is a real tear jerker and show us that reality is not always going according our expectation and told us that love is not something that should getting forced. both series was a heartbreaking romance anime where both hero and heroine is suffering and try to face the reality.
