Her voice has a nice, rough, scratchy quality to it. You guys who say it's bad should stick to your Kugimiya Rie and Hirano Aya if that's what you're looking for.

She hasn't done the voice training which other seiyuu have done since she's not a voice actress by vocation. Which is why her dialogue sounds "real"--she doesn't use the standard voices that others use. It's more natural.

I both like and dislike her acting. She is better at quiet parts, but sometimes her voice sounds too flat for the scenes. And I agree about the seriousness.

My thoughts? Her vocal really fits into Makina's character. They're wonderful.

I guess it's her first time as an actual main character role compared to small minor roles in other animes or game vocals - you can sense the seriousness she has for Makina's Character
