Similar artstyle (due to being from CLAMP) and design. Beyond that, both involve a world of make-believe (with involvement of supernatural beings with magical powers) within a realistic world. Kobato shares some similarities with Sakura, not only in terms of looks (Kobato looks like an older verson of Sakura with a different hairstyle), but part of her character such as cheerfulness. They are very loosely related at best due to these superficial similarities, but it is likely that both are enjoyable in their own ways.

Similar naive and happy-go-lucky heroines that are Goody two shoes and only think in other´s well being. Slice of life moments of the heroines daily lives helping/healing people around them. Drama and Romance involving main characters and supporting characters too. Both also have supernatural elements: cursed people who transform into animals and for a similar reason: one of them (the dog in kobato, the cat in Furuba) angered God and for that all of them were punished.

A certain dog is rather similiar to a certain cat, both are despairing over their apprentices. Kobato and Misha share a quite similiar personality, both are clumsy but honestly hard-trying and have the task to help people (make them happy) and have to face the same punishment in case they fail.

Kobato has a really nice feel to it. There are also a lot of similar aspects (i.e. kind of a tie in?) to each other. I found Wish to be a good, cute read. You get the lighthearted story with cute characters, but also a good bit of that key character development. And, of course, there's always that little conflict that makes things even better.

Kobato and Himawari-san have similar main characters: Matsuri and Kobato, they are both somehow clumsy and not really smart, but even though they are caring. Also both manga are set in specific places: library/kinder garden. Sayaka and Himawari-san look alike. Also there are some kids in Himawari-san that face problems like in Kobato. And the both have a similar feeling generally. Although I have to say that Kobato unlike Himawari-san was fantasy and drama.

In both mangas, a sweet and innocent girl goes off on a quest to obtain something that would get something she wanted/ get back something she had, but lost. They would both have to get more then 1 of what they wanted, to fill something up (in Tsubasa, she just needed all of her feathers back). Both girls find themselves falling in love with someone close to them along the way. Both girls are also supported by some mystical animal creature. Both works are also by Clamp. If you've read one and enjoyed it, you may like the other.

Even if it haven't that CLAMP's touch karakuri odette will make you feel the same, the story are thus different, the main caracter is somewhat similar being cheerful and always friendly. You will discover that those kind of manga are able to heal not only the other caracters but also people like you and me. So read it and smile you too.

Kobato and Kitchen Princess are both manga with some really delightful art that may appeal to shoujo fans. The main character is a somewhat odd but sweet and relatively innocent young girl, who seems to be able to touch the hearts of the people she meets and learns to know, and has a personal goal that she wishes to reach. But the story is a lot more dramatic than it seems, and the girl may find herself in some extremely dire situations in her journey towards her wish.

Both female leads in A Galaxy Next Door and Kobato—namely Shiori and Kobato—are very cute and will likely be favorites among comedy manga-reading otaku for similar reasons. There's also something otherworldly to both of these brunettes too, but another similarity between both manga is there's a bit of a comedic tone underlying some possible romance and fantasy-ish undertones.

Kobato and Pure Pure are two manga with a female main character who has to do a certain task—helping the people around her. She's not the best at it though, but luckily she has a friend by her side who also helps keep a certain secret she has. Both manga are somewhat relatively short and sweet (Kobato is more on the sweet side and Pure Pure is more on the short side, especially since it is literally just 1 volume), and the art can be quite delightful at times.

Both have a Stuffed Animal companion.

Kobato and Full Moon wo Sagashite are two manga with beautiful art and some fantasy elements that may not seem obvious at first. The main character is a relatively young and/or innocent girl who is followed by at least one talking animal plushie companion (a dog in Kobato, and a cat and bunny in Full Moon) that are not what they seem. There is a surprisingly large amount of of characters in both series (not just the main characters) that have some amount of backstory and drama to them, making both some unexpectedly sad and/or dark stories.

They both have romance and the protagonists have similar personalities. They're very interesting and original in their own way.

The main character of each title helps others to grant their own wishes.

Both are heart warming stories with a touch of supernatural that contain: - A lively young girl that wants to be near the person she loves. - A tragic event that took place in her former life. - A promise that she wants to keep. - Male protagonist is way older than heroine.

Both have as main protagonist, a naive energetic girl who does everything to help others. She is protected by a supernatural best friend[in Kobato is a stuffed dog from the other world, in YZM is a ghost, and in both stories, the guy doesn't show her his true form]. There is also a female teacher who is very close to her, and a boy that at the first despises her but later becomes her ally. Both are very tender and sweet stories with slice of life and supernatural events.

More adorable CLAMP stories! Kiseki contains short one shots, many of them including Ioryogi. So if you like plushie Ioryogi you'll like these cute one-shot adventures about him.

They are both made by the same author and have a similar feeling. They both have supernatural elements and take place in the same universe and have great stories. They're mysterious and interesting, though quite different.

I'm only at the first volume of Kobato so I don't know how much emphasis is there on the supernatural part later , but the beginning reminded me a lot of Yotsuba&! because both mangas show every day life in a really heart warming way .

They are set in the same universe and they both involve girl that aren't human and learn new things about the world every day. They are written by the same author and have great stories.

In both series, young girls help others heal themselves. In addition, both are aided by talking animals, in one case a cat and the other a stuffed animal.
