| I use GOM player for taking frame by frame screenshots, then put them into Gimp. There are tuts on youtube. Hope that helps. |

| I had issues with GOM player playing various types of files. For some reason it had trouble with some MKV formats. I use KMplayer now instead and it works for everything. I believe it has alot more neat little things you can tweak too. |
