| i guess its more adventure and shounen as its like a RPG like World of Warcraft type game... but i guess u can say its shoujo as there is some romance but not the type in manga with the harem of girls surrounding a guy.. actually... wouldnt it be sort of a counter-harem as its dudes surrounding a girl? |

| It's aimed more for the girls, with the romance (now) and the good looking guys. Still, it provides some fanservice for the guys too, with the cute girls. Plus, it has great action scenes and a real hilarious comedy, so it will attract some male readers but as you can see, the female readers are a lot higher than males. xD |
| I think its the gender bender genre thats keeping guys from picking it up, i bet they think its shoujo, i know its not, since shoujo manga don't have girls with huge breasts... woot at least 6 guys out of 32 here! Ski is no longer alone hehe |

| I suggest explaining that the word "transvestite" refers to the character in MMORPG(bassicaly make diagram: rl life girl--> ingame boy). This should be easyier to swallow for him. |

Even i didn't like the summary ... I changed the summary on Baka Updates and requested a change in Mangafox too, the one here is already changed I suggest people get rid of the word transvestite on any summary that u have permission to edit... because frankly, a girl wearing guys clothes or playing a game as a guy can't be considered a trans <.< I wear trousers all the time!! its when guys wear frilly dresses then someone goes up and calls em a trans, unfair yes... but thats society for u <.< |

| I'm a girl too... I like this Manga because I play a lot of online games like WoW. People have a hard time recognizing that a Blood Elf Death Knight can be a girl irl and most people just take me for a guy, so I really don't believe female toons have it easier. Besides, my bf is the one who always gets helped by female toons and invited to guilds, so I guess performance probably counts more than gender, but... oh well... Anyhow, back to topic, I tried having my bf read 1/2 Prince, but he just avoids it every time. I suspect it's because the main character is a girl and he probably thinks it's too cheesy. |

| Ah, but their jokes are quite funny. I guess a lot of guys roll female elves (belf, nelf, doesn't matter) to dress them up. Sort of sad... all the fan service in meant to please guys, but even the male blood elf (which should be the female eye candy) is not that attractive. So sad... |

| Well I belonge to that minority that does not create femal char to dress them up (thou I'll admit that I was pleased when I found good piece of clothing that also looked good on my belf warlock), first I came up with nick and it just so happened that I found it good for belf female. And if I'm not mistaken most ppl that work in game buisness are guys (I'm not that good with judging girls tastes but have you seen Lineage II? I guess the male chars look better there) |

| I'm a guy, who would rather read a story and make up his own opinion of it, so I started reading 1/2 prince, off of a synopsis about a seemingly common occurrence in MMORP Gaming... only set in the future and with a, tsun-tsun, female character as lead. Its really funny and I will continue reading for the romance and comedy, the action is way not shonen at all, more comedic. I like the interplay between Real Life and Second life in the story as well, its like the game limits players to people they live near, like a sort of region limiter. Although going straight to a typical Shojo-esque "Which guy do I chose"arc, from meat bun killing monsters.... and starting to talk. Was a bit fast, like without any development, I prefer development I guess, but am inclined to forego it for the sake of comedy. |
| Yeh the action is lets say, too much for shoujo.. .too little for shounen haha. Oh and i doubt theres gonna be a "which guy do i choose" anytime soon at all. Its only the fans thinking, which girl she will choose. While feng lan is more like, omg which guy will my brother choose... I'm betting she's gonna realise that she's part of the love triangle just near the end of the whole thing... |
