| I played world of warcraft, but i don't recommend it, cuz its too addictive while at the same time being a total waste of money and time! too bad they only give certain classes combat pets there so no meat buns :( |
| I gave world of warcraft a try. Cost me an arm and a leg to keep it up, though as noobzilla said they do give Hunter pets and i think you can get other forms of pets but i never really played anything but hunters and warriors... But yeah, it's really fun if you have the money for it. i'm trying various free ones out at the moment, none particularly stand out though .... |

| I started out with one called tibia online (which sucks ugly monkey's *ss). After that I went to Second Life (this lasted just a few hours before I ran away from all the pervs) and There and Furcadia but none of those I would actually recommend because they are not about leveling and it's mostly a waste of time and money -besides you only ever meet scary people there. I did Maple Story for a while, but the fact that you have to buy all the pretty items with real money sort of led me away. Finally, I joined World of Warcraft and I've been playing that for about two years, but the pressure on gearing up and raiding is really making me stop playing: applying for a raiding guild is almost like applying for a job where you have specific times you have to log on and stay there no matter how late it becomes... I already have a job and my university to worry about, so I don't like to have an online game I'm actually paying for give me any more responsibilities. I did try out Ragnarok once on a private server, maybe I'd like to try it again as the real thing, but... I think I want to go on a detox period for a while. ^^ |

| I've been playing Shaiya [Link] for about 3 months now... It is addicting, it is fun to play and rather boring for levelling to get to the good stuff. "A damn sight better then world of war craft" I'm told, by converts from WoW to Shaiya. I think its player versus player system needs work, but the whole game is getting an update next month, apparently addressing my concerns... Not much to say really... a lot of trans gender players though. I played as a male character, as a warrior, then when I got to level 40, played as a 'Harder mode' character but as a female though, and levelling was in fact easier... but not because of being female... more because of the fact that my male character is a soloist and the female hard mode character is a healer... a priest, and incapable of going solo, so is basically in need of a party to fight for her... lol The game I can explain in great detail, but won't since this post is already long. |

I'd rather log into it just to talk to my friend list, then to level up and gain those rewards. |
| I don't really play much MMORPGs anymore (due to increased schoolwork)... But I used to play Maplestory a whole lot. I've also played games like FlyFF, Fiesta and the latest, Megami Tensei (MegaTen). I've kind of gotten over MMORPGs now though, especially cos of the boring repetitive gameplay style of levelling and grinding~ I still wish 'Second Life' existed though, that would be awesome~ :> |

| Closest we have is some goggles, (120 hz refresh rate dual LCD screens about 1.5k $ Nvidia), Dolby surround sound headset (60$ thereabouts), force feedback jacket (literally feels like you've got shot and is a jacket) and a real life and heavy pistol... for FPS games like HL2... I really wanna see a huge sword... and stuff for fantasy RPGs though. |

I have a friend that plays it and he just spends tonnes of money on it and all he does it play it, never giving time for revision considering that we have exams in about a month or so. He's too addicted to it. As for games Ive tried: I have tried secret of the solstice, its alright. Conquer is pretty good, though I dont think you can have pets on it. I had a problem when mom threw me off the computer where it is on and did something to it so it doesnt open *cry* Im thinking of looking into Perfect World, anyone played this? My old laptop had an issue with it and wouldnt open it, but I have a new laptop now and Im wondering is it really worth it to try downloading it again? |

| WoW is excessively addictive and can quickly plaque the life of anyone without a LOT of self-control. I know my friends have taken to a habit that if any of us even thinks about playing WoW everyone else will quickly flood over to drag that out of his thought process. As we say... "it consumes souls". Psychological studies say that addiction rates for WoW may be as high as 40%, which is kind of scary. my own MMO experience is mostly limited to Ragnarok on a private server, until I dropped it due to a lack of time...sad, I had a Creator and it was one of the most run chars ever. thinking about going back to an MMO once I get more time at hands but... since WoW's success MMOs are popping up everywhere and it's just too much hassle to choose one. There ARE some rather unique ones, like ai sp@ce. lawl. So expect lots of porn products as all the entrepreneurs flood over it before they start making other stuff using it <_< |

| I'm afraid I've never played WoW... its just not that fun. Compared to say.. pokemon. Compared to enslaving the cutest monsters out there into doing your evil bidding whilst crushing the souls of the trainers you fight against along the way... WoW isn't fun at all. Incidentally... I'd like some more knowledge about Ai space, http://aisp.jp/home.html since I think that Zanaikin made a recommendation and yet mentioned nothing. |

| i;ve been clean from retail wow for a year... though when i feel too much withdrawal symptoms i log onto private servers.. then i get bored of it really fast and again think... wow, WoW does suck... but then the symptoms kick back again after a month or so... |

Aispace is... weird concept. I believe it's like some MMO version of the Sims. You start with a home n all. Except you get a bishoujo from a visual novel that tails you around everywhere. Two of my friends plays that for a bit for lawls. Apparently while some of the things in the game you can get yourself through questing or such, most of the stuff you need to pay for thru something else (niconico video I think). I'm not really sure what you can actually do in the game other than hanging out [shrug] |

| If anyone is still interested I would recommend Lineage 2: www.lineage2.com/ The best imo. Very good graphics, beautifully designed characters/armors/mobs/everything. And there are plenty of private servers that are free and are high rate if u wanna level (extremely) fast. However to enjoy the full experience I recommend a low rate server. Still remember the joy when I reached level 40 after 2 fun-filled months ^^.I played it for 5 years, 2 of them on a single server. It is incredibly fun and yes, addicting. | I tried playing WoW for a while, and i got bored.... I get bored with games easily.... Downfall of my mind >.> anywayz i play Tales Runner sometimes and my fave game is Grand Chase <3<3<3 <i'm only missing the mari chara and just about all my chara's are at second job change and i have one thats at 4 and lots at 3rd> I play MegaTen too, and i'm almost lvl 30 =^_^= I go through lots of games and right now i'm waiting for two... no three to become available to the US. Blade & Sword, Howling Sword, and Vindictus... Howling Sword is a long way off though which makes me sad T^T |

| I was looking around for an RPG like Second Life, and I found Grand Fantasia, after reading the directions, it sounded really similar to Second Life, so I'm in the middle of installing it right now. It's free, and you even get to make guilds. xD At any rate, like Ragnarok, it's got anime graphics... My first time trying out MMORPG, so I'm kinda scared...with the controls and all. Hopefully I'll be able to get along with the other players and be able to form a team. =3 |
