| Recently my neighborhood bookstore started selling the omnibus edition of the Neon Genesis manga, I've briefly looked through it and it looks pretty well done and I would like to add it to my collection, but I was curious if the manga ends the same way as the anime. If it's the same crap ending from the series I'll probably hold out on buying it until I find it at a bargain bookstore, but if it's different I'll go ahead and get myself a brand new copy. I heard the manga is ending in two more chapters, so for anyone currently following it, is the ending different or the same? Mod Edit: Made title descriptive. |

| Hard to say. The latest chapter just had the It's really hard to say if the ending will be the same as EoE or not, but I think it's safe to bet that there will be some changes done to the ending, as the same has been done with the rest of the manga. Edit: My mistake, EVA 01 did emerge. |
