Monogatari Series: First Season
| There are so many monogatari novels from the series Bakemonogatari but should I read them as they have been released or should I go in a chronological path? how is the best way to read the novels? |

| This is a kinda old thread, right? And no one ever replied... pretty gay if you ask me. I'm also pretty confused on how to read it and don't know where to start. I also thought of reading it on the order of when they got released. I just started reading the first sentences of chapter 1 of "Hitagi Crab" but it starts weird, is it always like that? Not that I hate it, just that if its that way in all chapters or something --its just that I was suprised and am not sure if I'm reading it right. Sucks that they're not all translated... (Will start reading them in Baka Tsuki) I was wondering how you download them in PDF? |

| I have read this series as they have been published, but I think reading chronologically would be better -Kizumonogatari -Nekomonogatari (Kuro) -Bakemonogatari -Nisemonogatari -Kabukimonogatari -Nekomonogatari (Shiro) - Onimonogatari (happens at the same time, but one follows Hanekawa, the other follows Araragi) -Otorimonogatari -Koimonogatari -Tsukimonogatari -Owarimonogatari - Zokuowarimonogatari (2 final books have yet released) -Hanamonogatari |
| In released order you will get the references and jokes that happened in the earlier novels too.There is no point for them to be there if you dont know what they are talking about or even forget about it when you reach said novel. |
