IMO it's a waste of time and money that can be invested better. Less this shows stuff we did not see and less these actually do give out more info, better scopes and new senses of things then it's useless. The preview stuff in the synopsis for the second half will be interesting to say the least. Remains to see how long will it be up and what are the repeats from the 11 episodes mentioned. |

Apparently when people lack the means to appreciate something, they tend to blame it on the subject matter itself rather than their own lack of knowledge.. Modified by miathetiger, 12-22-11, 6:34 PM |

Is this for getting more viewers who would be able to start following the show after seeing the recap? Can't imagine someone forgetting everything between now and next week. |

GC gets a two-week break, so some people might forget some stuff from here till the next broadcast, which is in three weeks. Also, some people tends to misinterpret the show, so they probably just want to give them a second chance at it so the show doesn't get misunderstood. |

As if a recap is needed. It won't suddenly make a good show out of the poo that is GC. "In the distant future I see open fields for far more important researches. Psychology will be based on a new foundation, that of the necessary acquirement of each mental power and capacity by gradation. Light will be thrown on the origin of man and his history." a summary? its not a hard show to follow in the least bit. just why also are we not getting a episode this week so they can have room for this summary......god damn it "Being a fan of something is like having a penis. It's normal to have one and it's nice to be proud of it. But for the love of god, don't pull it out in public and don't wave it in other's faces." |

Can´t say that is all fanservice, but yeah, the show has many issues, mainly related to the terrible direction/writing/characterization. If done well, this special might help to have a better grasp (impression?) of the plot and whatever thing is about :P ![]() |

GC is on a two weeks break because of the Japanese new year holiday. They have a lot of other new year shows to show on Fuji Tv (where GC airs), and I bet they'll also save the show 'till after the holiday, and then get more viewers. |

Hmmm... I guess they have enough money to waste... Seriously, we are only watching this because of the art. |

I hate recaps so this is a pass for me. Although this is good for those people over in Japan that need to get caught up or missed an episode since this series is episodic until episode 10. "What has two arms, two legs, and is alive? Not your favorite character thats for sure!" |

I actually don't think it's a waste of money at all. Since obviously Guilty Crown is a high budget anime/project due to the art, animation and soundtrack. So if Guilty Crown sells good in Japan (I'm pretty sure they could care less what the stupid americans think...] which I think it would since Japanese people are amazed by the simplest things so I imagine this would do good none-the-less [I know this from experience with them at my school -_-]. And if that is the case where it does sell really well then most likely there would be more Like and OVA- movie or even a second season since I read in a ANN interview that they would really like for that to happen. Plus lol even I'm going to buy the Blu-Ray; just for the amazing box art, OST, and the additional songs Euterpe ~Silence~ and I belive Departures ~Blessing~ is on there...at least I hope. ![]() |

There is nothing deep about this show there is nothing good about the plot of this show. This plot is a jumbled mess that needs a decent summary to save it and in all honesty who really needs a brain to watch this show? It's just pretty visuals with fighting and fanservice. |

The Japanese viewers of Horizon were confused by MAL's low scores. Someone posted about it somewhere in one of the Horizon threads. So maybe it would be the same in Guilty Crown's case. I mean if that is the case then the haters are just haters, but if this does fail in Japan then it does it won't stop me from enjoying it and probably buying it. Besides IG Production main audience is the Japanese viewers not ones that are watching it through fansubs or downloading them. They probably don't give a rats ass about what the Western audience thinks since most of their profits will come from the Japanese buying their BRs while few probably import. tl;dr version: They most likely don't give a shit about Western audiences or what sites like this say since most of their income comes from Japanese collectors buying the BRs.
