I was wondering is xxxHolic worth my time to read? i have read TRC so that is not a problem, but i finde TRC to be a pretty sad story i was wondering is xxxHolic the same? pls answer

It can be in places. Overall, it's an excelent story, and has more happy moments than sad ones. Besides, to really understand what was happening in TRC, you do need to read it.

Its an awesome manga BUT the end is horrible.....its horrible....all that time spent reading it and CLAMP just ruins it in the END!

Bear in mind that a large part of why the ending is considered poor by so many is because it doesn't end the way a lot of people were hoping.

Denial of expectations makes people hate it and it legitimately doesn't explain a whole lot clearly. There's enough to draw some conclusions and be satisfied in a way with that. It's a great Manga and imo Anime too. Worth enjoying for the characters and storyline.

Just don't expect when it ends to be wrapped up in a neat little package that makes you warm and fuzzy. Expect it to hurt a bit and leave you sad it ended at all.
