Bio: Armenia is a hard working and creative country. Her and her country were greatly wounded during World War I and during the Armenian Genocide. The Ottoman Empire looked upon her people with disgust and more than a million Armenian lives were lost. Because of these events Armenia and Turkey has tense relations. To this day, Armenia has a hard time even discussing the genocide. Two of Armenia's closest allies are Russia and Greece, both being her main military supporters. Russia helped Armenia strive through the genocide, and is her main military supporter. She also shares rich trades and culture with China. Armenia and France have also had friendly relations for some time now, as well as with Georgia. She has gained great respect for England as well as trust, especially after many of her people took refuge in his land during the 18th century and World War II. Armenia gained her independance on September 21st, 1991. She was previously owned by Russia under Soviet rule, until her people begain to protest agaisnt it in 1988. Armenia actually has good relations with almost every country in the World, besides Turkey and Azerbaijan. Armenia is a member of the Council of Europe, retaining many friendly relations within the European Union. After Armenia's independence, she continued to rely on Russia for military support, especially against Turkey. Some of her closest friends include: Georgia, who acts like a pestering older brother to her, Greece, whom she's fought with for many many years, and Romania, who she has a long and lasting friendship with. Armenia is a country landlocked in the South Caucasus between the Back and Caspian seas. She is bordered north and east by Georgia and Azerbaijan and on the south and west by Iran and Turkey.
