They announced the anime adaptation almost 2 yrs ago. What do you think they are cooking ?

The announcement video came way back on April 5th 2022. This April it will be 2yrs but we still haven't heard any updates since then. No trailer no updates no nothing. We don't know the studio or staff or even the release year

This leads me to believe it will have 20+ episodes, and if they're taking their time the anime would probably be of high quality

What are your thoughts?

with how beautiful the art is in the manga, i hope they are taking their time making it as pretty as they can to animate it

I just hope it gets a good adaptation because the story is amazing and just wish for it not being like the movie of Yuri on Ice that had no updates and I think is now cancelled. But if Atelier is really being adapted I really believe that the animation will be really good because of the designs in the manga (maybe hoping too much but if it has the quality of Violet Evergarden I will cry of joy)

To make a decent, well-animated 25 episode anime it takes on average 4-5 years. There should be an update in about a year's time.

What about frieren the manga was published in 2020 so at most 3 years or less was needed to make it into an anime as we see.
