@tofistig This isn't G-Witch, where the engagement was really just a lazy attempt to keep the characters together and copy Utena, so I think they'll actually get married 1 or 2 arcs later where their relationship will still be the catalyst for the drama.

Season 1 was honestly a slog for me, and I finished it mostly out of obligation. The last episode was at least some sort of sign that next season will be better, so there's that. I can't say whether I'll actually watch S2 at this time. I'm pretty much right on the fence, because I really *SHOULD* like this show, but the execution left much to be desired. So no hype for me, no.

This is probably a social media kind of thing, not just Twit~X.

Anyway, I'm glad to see another sequel coming up!

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

Same here. We know now they get married, they bang, have kids, etc.
If this continues it'll become an action focused anime, the battle against the emperor I guess. Romance wise, everything is settled.

I can't really see what else they could've added to the events after season 1 aside from just usual slice of life stuff which I wouldn't mind.
I thought season 1 ending would've been fine to just complete it as it is but seeing more chemistry between Miyo and Kiyoka would be cute.

The only thing that I am not excited for is insufferable characters created just to be annoying on screen without any real substance behind them to care about them which this show had a lot of such as the shit-for-brains stepmother and Tsurutwat. Sure Tsuruki was okay in the end and helped but regardless of his lore too, he really became a character I cared not one bit for because his personality is just stuck up, arrogant, obsessive, and stubborn for most of his screentime.

It would be nice to see Kaya's change if she does reappear because although she was an absolute bitch who needed to go to hell, her lame excuse of a mum was the reason she grew up to be such a spoilt princess so it'll be interesting to see if she does change for the better after living like a normal person in society.
Kouji hopefully grew some balls too in his absence from the rest of season 1 after he left and never came back too. Tho at the same time I hope he doesn't try to cling onto Miyo because that would be insanely annoying just to create some plot and unnecessary drama.

@BonBonToro exactly my thoughts. I guess this will become an action anime where some outsiders try to break Miyo and Kudo apart... Regardless, S1 ending seems very conclusive to me, not that I mind seeing some more kawai moments of them
